| Answer: | We did not do that, I read through all the reviews and tips - do that if you haven't already -- The part in question is very easily accessible if one just tips the washer so that the window faces the ground. use towels for cushion and have someone help you tip it. The part we took out looked fine as someone else said the same thing, we replaced it with the new part and no more leak. Huge savings |
