If yours looks like this then it will most likely work. Save your plug connect wire it does not include. After install it will take 2 to 3 three hours before it starts working. It has a open thermostat in it. It will not close and start turning or filling until the tray temp reaches 30deg. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | Why don't you open up the ice maker front cover and check whether the module looks like this one? In my understanding the ice maker control module is pretty universal for all kind of fridge (at least the non-smar fridge), but to be sure just open up your ice maker. It's very easy to pop out the front cover so you can see the module. The only this module differ with my original module that the motor is only 1W, whereas the original is 2W, but I can no longer find the 2W motor. It could be it's enough with 1W motor or the 1W motor will simply wear out faster. Most of the time you can just replace the motor, but I don't have the exact spec of the original motor. You don't want to replace the motor that has different RPM, becuase the ice buckets are filled based on timing, so you really want to match the RPM of the original motor, if you decided to replace the motor only. |

| Answer: | Here's a hint on the ice maker not working. Mine has stopped twice and each time it has been the wire stop at the top. Once the ice got under it and pulled it out of the front hole. That made it stop working. This morning it is not working and it is the wire again. It had slipped in its position and had come out of the hole a short way. I pulled out the ice container and was able to get it back in the hole. I suggest you check the position of the wire before you go any further. It's possible it has pulled out of the little hole up front the it resides in. |
