Answer:	Yes, it will work on any drum. From my experience it works best on newer / clean drums, rust and gunk build up will cause the tension to pop the torque key.

Answer:	It is a square socket to fit a drums tension rod. It won't fit a standard nut or bolt. It looks to be about a 1/4, I've never measured though.

Answer:	I’ve seen these sold for tensioning a banjo head, but most banjos have hex head nuts. This device has a 1/4” square socket designed to fit a square drum tension rod. Trying to use this on a banjo would literally require fitting a hex head in a square hole!

Answer:	I really dont know. My stove is a Roper .its at least 33yrs old. I didn't have to use the attachment that came with it. It fitted on my old one. This is a "D" shape knob at 2 inches wide. It's universal but it's not made cheaply. I love . I looked for a replacement knob for yrs. I has brought quite a few before that didn't fix. Try it .! If it doesn't fit you can always send it back. Answer:	It does fit D-shaped shafts. The inner shaft does not extend out beyond the back edge of the knob. Instead, it is inset so that the back edge of the knob completely covers the metal shaft from the stove. The back edge of the knob is designed to be almost flush with the stove knob panel for a nice clean look, unlike other after-market knobs that stick out from the stove and expose the metal shaft. There is about a 1/4" space between the back edge of the knob and the stove knob panel on my Premier stove. It should fit most stoves with a D-shaped metal shaft that extends out from the stove knob panel by at least 3/4", approximately.
