This is 29.5 from wall to front door & we have it pretty tight to the wall.From back of machine to feet is roughly 24 inches, but you have to account for hose and a door that sticks out further.On the plus side, the machine so far is amazing to me. Answer:	"Septic safe" on the box means it won't corrode pipes and concrete (tank). That misses the essential element, will it disturb the ecology of the tank (kill the bacteria that are essential for septic operation). Caustic materials like drain cleaner are very bad for your septic, bleach not so bad probably because of the dilution in the washer. I am relating here the information conveyed to me by my county department of licenses and inspection septic system expert and a licensed septic inspector. So the anlswer depends on the materials used, which are not stated anywhere. 7 months is not sufficient time to evaluate. You don't want to learn after three years that you've poisoned the system and clogged the drainage field, requiring a $8,000 to $10,000 job to replace something that should have lasted 40 years. Here's what's in it according to the safety data sheet supplied by Whirlpool via Home Depot: Polyoxy(methyl-1,2-ethanediyl), a-hydro-w-hydroxy- 1% Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate 50% - 70% Boric Acid 20% - 30% Sodium Carbonate 20% - 30% Tetrasodium EDTA 1% Most of these are found in everyday laundry detergent. Tetrasodium EDTA is a preservative. The long weird name stuff is the joker in the mix, perhaps more research is needed. I'm not sure I will risk using this in my washer, as I try to take good care of my septic system. Answer:	No, the 14-30R is used with a 30 amp breaker, and with the 80% rule the appliance should not draw more than 24 amps. Most stove/ranges use a 50 amp circuit and a 14-50R outlet. Check the electrical rating sticker on your stove. If the amperage is above 24 up to 32, you will need the 14-50 outlet on a 40 or 50 amp breaker. if the amperage is from 32-40, you will need the 14-50 on a 50 amp breaker. The wire gauge you use should be sized to match the breaker rating.

Answer:	This is a standard dryer outlet NEMA 14-30R. The top prong as pictured is the ground blade lug. Some of the plugs used to come with a lug that is U shaped like the hole in the outlet looks, but most nowadays come with a round lug. This outlet is designed to use either style of plug. It has been a while since I've seen the U shaped ground lug, so I can see why you would have a hard time finding one that shape. A cord that is labeled as a 4 wire 30 amp dryer cord should fit this fine. Most will have '14-30P' molded into the plug case. Any hardware store, like Home Depot, should carry these.
