Answer:	I am not sure if this would work but cover them with dryer sheets before use. Charcoal has been used to remove smell. Crush a couple briquettes in an old sock on them before use. There is also pet urine spray that may work. Just thoughts.

Answer:	One disk for each foot. 4 feet 4 disk. On the packaging 2 disk are turned upside down.

I don't think it should be put in between the stacked machines - those stacked machines require the feet to sit down in the recessed part of the bracket so the machines stay stacked. Putting this in between the machines would be dangerous.
