Find your model number on the inside of the door or back panel of the dryer and do a google search for gas valve coil for that model. Once you find a part number you should easily find one. I usually check a few sites to make sure the part is identical on all sites to make sure it's the correct one. I also did a you tube video search on how to replace the valve and found a great video that showed a step by step process on how to diagnose what part was the problem. It is very easy to replace the valve after watching someone and hearing it explained how it all works. Good luck. |

Installation Tips :
1,Unplug the dryer（for your safety）
2,Remove the vent hose and the screws from the back of the dryer
3,Unplug the two wires on the fuse
4,Remove the screw from the fuse and pull the fuse out,then put the new fuse in place and snug the screw down
5,Plug the two wired onto the new fuse
6,Put the back on the dryer,and hook the vent hose back up. Plug the dryer in.

| Answer: | My dryer was a Maytag, but if you look at the product description it will fit several other brands. One thing is for sure, the pictures of the coils are dead on. Looked exactly like my old coils. My ignitor would come on and glow orange, then after 15-20 secs you should hear the solenoids kick in the gas valve. In my case, the solenoids would drop out after awhile which is common for weak solenoids. 90% of the time it is the solenoids. Keep in mind that they may ohm out ok, but after a coil heats up, it can get weak enough to let go. In my case, I could actually go through a complete dry cycle without dropout. But it got to where the solenoids just would hold anymore. Good luck. |
