Answer:	You can buy a 5ft 3 wire extension cord from wal mart or similar. Cut off female end of plug, strip back cord covering exposing the 3 wires. Strip wire ends and connect white to white, black to black and green to green inside the small electrical junction box on the front bottom right side of the appliance. Then plug it in. Appliance is made to be hard wired but installing a cord is not a difficult job. All tools and supplies can be purchased at wal mart or home store. I just unwired the cord from my old dishwasher and put it on this one. This machine is great and cleans like none other also very quiet.

Answer:	Use less detergent, and I only use Finish brand powdered detergent, works fantastically. Using a pinch of borax works well too for my glassware to prevent water stains.

Answer:	I purchased an SPT SD-2225DW a few months ago and highly recommend it. I installed and have been using it since then. It performs as advertised. Be sure you have the countertop space.

Answer:	You could fit 10.75 dishes in but they will not be able to stand straight. Most of my standard size dishes I'm able to wash though. I hope that helps.

Answer:	It does have a pump, but I would recommend placing it on the counter beside the sink when being used, or use a cart as it has only a 4" power cord and even shorter nozzle hose. Plus it's easier to drain the remaining water from the hose after its disconnected. Even though the water is pumped out, the hose will still have water in it as the water is left on until the wash cycle is finished. The weight is less than 20lbs. so it can be stored elsewhere when not in use.
Question:	What range of water usage is this dishwasher? Looking to put it in an RV and low water usage is best
Answer:	I haven't measured it. Probably three to four feet. The power chord is not as long as the hose is.

Answer:	AJ is wrong and doesn't know what he is talking about. This unit has a pump to drain the water out. Just like a regular dishwasher. The max lift of the pump is 39", so the only requirement is that the hose is not greater than 39" below you drain attachment point.
Question:	Can you wash a dutch oven sized pot or skillet
Answer:	It comes with a drain hose which you would simply place in the sink for it to drain.
Question:	Will this work with low water pressure
Answer:	Yes. According to the instructions it should be counter top high. It's a double hose for water inlet and dirty water outlet. Both are connected at a junction to the faucet. On the floor would be too hard on the pump.

Answer:	The EdgeStar BIDW1802SS comes with standard water connections. There should not need to be any adapters for installation within the US.

Answer:	You handle food debris. If you do a quick rinse of the dishes before putting them in the machine you will have no problems. If you put dishes with food caked on I'm sure eventually it will clog.

Question:	What is the exact width of the unit
Answer:	It comes with a new ending for your faucet, which would replace your existing funnel shaped one. As long as your faucet can be unscrewed, which most of them can, you will be okay.
Question:	Is it possible to get a owners manual my was lost in the move and how would I go about getting one
Answer:	I did. I bought an adapter with 3/4" female to 3/8" male hose adapter for the input hose which I then connected to the hot water under my sink. For the output, I used the same output hose as it used a weird threading. I cut it down and used an adapter with two hose clamps to attach it to a dishwasher drain pipe and route in into the plumbing of my sink like one would do for a normal dishwasher.
Question:	Does this unit heat the water to 148 degrees
Answer:	You can buy a 5ft 3 wire extension cord from wal mart or similar. Cut off female end of plug, strip back cord covering exposing the 3 wires. Strip wire ends and connect white to white, black to black and green to green inside the small electrical junction box on the front bottom right side of the appliance. Then plug it in. Appliance is made to be hard wired but installing a cord is not a difficult job. All tools and supplies can be purchased at wal mart or home store. I just unwired the cord from my old dishwasher and put it on this one. This machine is great and cleans like none other also very quiet.
Question:	How long does the complete wash-dry cycle take
Answer:	It's extremely quiet. I can barely hear it, even in the same room.
